Acid Washed

What is known collectively as Acid Washed, is a group effort to make some damn good music.  And it is damn good.  Let me tell you (especially after you watch the video) that there's definitely a reason its called Acid Washed.  The group is made up of a variety of creative voices over in the French motherland including Xaver Naudascher, Gavin Russom, and Christophe Chassol (Sebastien Tellier, Phoenix) among others.  So check out these tracks (purchase them here) and be sure to watch the video too.  This isn't music video monday, but it's worthy of the title.  Something very very different for you fellows looking to get extra shifty today.

Prodigal Beats

This aint a new discovery... you already know The Prodigy kills it day-n-night in their own right.  These guys are legends, sporting solid bangers all day ever since they started doin their thang back in the early 90's.  But today I got a couple remixes off their new Invaders Must Die LP (which you should grab, if you don't already own) from UK dubstep heavyweight, Benga, and that groovy french guru, Yuksek.  Both these remixes are well worth your listening time, so snatch em up.

The new Kid Sister album dropped today and I have to say I'm into it. Ultraviolet is more than the typical neo-pop album, as it is full of hits from beginning to end, with the exception of a few tracks. Even more, the songs are mixed from one to the next, making it easy to listen to all the way through. With production from the likes of Steve Angello, A-trak and Yuksek, to name a few, how could you not want to get your hands on this? Oh and did I mention Rusko was part of that list as well?
